Bring a familiar controller to another system
USB Wireless Adapter 2 pairs supported Bluetooth gamepads with a compatible USB host. Its controller list includes 8BitDo Bluetooth models, Xbox Series and Xbox One Bluetooth controllers, DualSense and DualShock models, Switch Pro and Joy-Con controllers, Wii U Pro, and Wii Remote. It is a bridge for Bluetooth controllers; proprietary 2.4G controllers are not supported.
Four input modes for different hosts
The adapter supports X-input, D-input, Mac, and Switch modes, allowing the connected controller to present the protocol expected by the host. 8BitDo lists Switch, Windows 10 and later, macOS, SteamOS, Android, Raspberry Pi, Android TV boxes, and Retrofreak among compatible systems. On Switch it supports six-axis motion; vibration support in X-input mode is limited to supported PlayStation controllers.
Mapping tools in a ten-gram adapter
With 8BitDo Ultimate Software, supported controller combinations can remap buttons, adjust stick and trigger sensitivity, tune vibration, build macros, and save profiles. Firmware can also be upgraded as compatibility changes. The adapter weighs 10 grams and uses Bluetooth 4.0 with Bluetooth LE support, making it easy to move between a desktop, handheld dock, and living-room console.
