Kirby's first fully 3D platforming journey
Kirby and the Forgotten Land moves the series into free-moving 3D stages set among the remains of a past civilization. Kirby's copy abilities still define combat, but the extra dimension changes how attacks, dodges, and exploration work. Kirby can inhale objects too large to copy normally and wrap around them through Mouthful Mode. A car becomes a fast route through obstacles, a vending machine fires cans, and other shapes reveal specialized solutions. These transformations are tied to particular stage ideas rather than replacing copy abilities. Blueprints also let Kirby upgrade familiar powers, giving combat options a visible path of development as the adventure moves forward.
A welcoming adventure with cooperative support
A second player can join as Bandana Waddle Dee for local cooperative play, using a spear while Kirby handles copy and Mouthful abilities. The shared-screen structure keeps both characters in the same stage and makes rescued Waddle Dees a common goal. On Nintendo Switch, the physical US release can be played on a television, in tabletop mode, or as a handheld. Optional objectives preserve harder targets beyond the approachable main route.
