Two screens change the way you play
The DS Lite keeps a second screen within reach, letting compatible games separate action from maps, menus or touch interactions. Its lower display accepts touch input, while the familiar buttons handle traditional controls. That combination gives the DS library a different rhythm from earlier single-screen handhelds. The black finish suits a straightforward portable collection, but the condition of each screen, hinge and shell must be assessed on the actual unit. One system for DS and GBA cartridges
Nintendo DS Lite supports Nintendo DS game cards and compatible Game Boy Advance cartridges through separate slots. That is useful when your collection includes both generations, but it does not extend to original Game Boy or Game Boy Color cartridges. Game Boy Advance multiplayer through link cables is also not a DS Lite feature. Choose the system around the games you intend to play in single-player mode, and check accessory requirements separately for DS titles that use additional hardware.
