Every Pokemon game we carry, on one shelf. Game Boy cartridges, GBA carts, DS and 3DS cards, plus the console spin-offs that only ran on Nintendo 64 and GameCube.

Main series, by handheld

The Game Boy era starts with Red, Blue and Yellow, then Gold, Silver and Crystal on Game Boy Color. Game Boy Advance brought Ruby and Sapphire, the FireRed and LeafGreen remakes, and Emerald with its Battle Frontier. On DS you'll find Diamond, Pearl and Platinum, the Johto remakes HeartGold and SoulSilver, and all four Black and White games. 3DS covers X, Y, the Hoenn remakes and the Alola pair.

The ones people forget

GameCube had two full Pokemon RPGs: Colosseum and XD: Gale of Darkness. Both are about snagging Shadow Pokemon, and neither was ever re-released. Nintendo 64 has Pokemon Snap and Stadium 2. The DS also got the Ranger and Mystery Dungeon side series.

Buying a used Pokemon cartridge

Gold, Silver and Crystal keep your save on a small internal battery. Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald use one for the in-game clock, so berries and tides stop working when it dies. These batteries are over twenty years old now. Check the listing for what's included. Product photos are reference images, not the exact copy you'll receive.
