Travel Paldea with Miraidon
Pokémon Violet opens the Paldea region as a connected landscape of cities, lakes, mountains, grasslands, and desert. Miraidon carries the player across that terrain and gains new traversal abilities during the journey. Three story routes, Victory Road, the Path of Legends, and Starfall Street, can be followed in a flexible order. The academy setting, supporting characters, and version details distinguish Violet from its Pokémon Scarlet counterpart.
Tera Types create new battle possibilities
Terastallization lets a Pokémon activate its Tera Type once per battle after the Terastal Orb is charged. A well-chosen type can strengthen offense or change how opponents read a matchup. Wild Tera Pokémon and cooperative Tera Raid Battles add other routes for developing a team. Violet's species selection and legendary partner differ from Scarlet, making version identity relevant to trading and collection goals.
Explore together while keeping individual progress
The Union Circle allows up to four players to share Paldea, see one another in the world, and take part in selected activities. Trading and battling support team building beyond each player's own version. Story objectives and captures remain associated with the individual game. Violet's physical US game card plays in Nintendo Switch TV, tabletop, and handheld configurations while preserving the Uva Academy and Miraidon version identity.
