Battles fought with stickers
In Sticker Star, every attack is a sticker. Jump and Hammer stickers fill Mario's album, and stronger versions like the Iron Jump or Burnt Hammer hit harder. You peel them off walls and trees across the Mushroom Kingdom or buy them in Decalburg's shops. The Battle Spinner lets you spend coins to play more than one sticker in a turn. Real-world objects called Things, such as a fan, a pair of scissors or a faucet, turn into large stickers that solve puzzles and flatten bosses.
Kersti, Royal Stickers and Paperization
The story starts at the Sticker Fest in Decalburg, where Bowser crashes the Sticker Comet and scatters six Royal Stickers across the land. Mario teams up with Kersti, a sticker fairy, to get them back. Her Paperization ability flattens the view so Mario can place stickers directly into the world, patching broken bridges or filling gaps in the scenery. Levels sit on a world map that runs from grassy hills to a desert, a forest, snowy mountains and a jungle island, with secret exits rewarding a second look.
