Sonic in Camelot

Released by Sega in 2009 as the second Storybook game after Sonic and the Secret Rings, this Wii title pulls Sonic into a book of Arthurian legend. The sorceress Merlina asks him to stop King Arthur, who has become the Black Knight. Sonic gets Caliburn, a sword with a sharp tongue, and faces knights played by familiar faces. Shadow appears as Lancelot, Knuckles as Gawain, Blaze as Percival and Silver as Galahad, with Amy as the Lady of the Lake.

Swinging the Wii Remote

You steer Sonic with the Nunchuk and swing the Wii Remote to slash at enemies in front of him. Stages run at speed through places like Camelot Castle, Deep Woods and Molten Mine, mixing sword fights with running and jumping. Many areas come back with different mission goals, so the same ground plays out in new ways. Beyond the story, Battle Mode lets up to four players face off, with more rules unlocked as you progress through the Adventure mode.
