Each song has a colorful coach on screen performing a routine, and you mirror the moves with a Wii Remote in your right hand. The game reads the motion of the remote and grades each move, while pictograms scroll along the bottom to warn you what comes next. The tracklist mixes 2013 hits with older favorites, including Get Lucky by Daft Punk, Blurred Lines by Robin Thicke, Kiss You by One Direction, Applause by Lady Gaga, I Will Survive by Gloria Gaynor and 99 Luftballons by Nena.
On-Stage, Mashups and Just Sweat
On-Stage mode puts one player in the lead with two backup dancers following their own routines behind them. Mashups remix a song with moves pulled from other Just Dance games, and Just Sweat turns the tracklist into a workout mode. Up to four players can dance at once with a Wii Remote each, and no Nunchuk is needed. The World Dance Floor online mode no longer works, since Ubisoft ended online support for this game, but the rest of the disc runs offline.
