A scattered team and the Anglar Empire
After the events of Star Fox: Assault, the team has broken up. Fox McCloud is flying without his old wingmen, Falco has gone his own way, and Krystal has been sent off the team. When the Anglar Empire rises from Venom's acid seas and attacks Corneria, Fox gathers old friends and new pilots, including Slippy's fiancee Amanda, Peppy's daughter Lucy and Andross's grandson Dash Bowman. Choices at key points send the story down different paths, and those branches lead to nine possible endings, some of them surprising for a Star Fox game.
Drawing flight paths with the stylus
Each mission starts on a map screen. You draw flight paths on the touch screen to send Arwings toward enemy squads and incoming missiles before they reach the Great Fox, and the map plays out in turns. When a ship meets an enemy group, the action switches to an All-Range Mode dogfight flown with the stylus, where you shoot down targets and collect the cores they drop to win the fight. Different pilots fly different ships with their own strengths. Up to six people can battle through local wireless play, sharing a single card through DS Download Play.
