Tal'Set's first trip to the Lost Land
Tal'Set is locked in a fight with Captain Tobias Bruckner when both are pulled into the Lost Land, a world where dinosaurs and advanced weapons exist side by side. There, the reptilian Slegs, led by Lord Tyrannus, are building an army to take over, with Bruckner fighting at Tyrannus's side. Tal'Set's journey through jungles, swamps, cliffs and Sleg fortresses shows how he becomes the first Turok. Raptors and much larger beasts roam the same ground as the Sleg troops, so every clearing can hold a surprise.
Bows, big guns and flying missions
Turok games mix primitive and futuristic weapons, and Evolution follows that pattern. The bow, a signature Turok weapon, sits alongside pistols, shotguns, rifles and heavier explosive and alien weapons. Several levels put Tal'Set on the back of a flying pterosaur, turning the game into an aerial shooter as he strafes Sleg forces from above. On foot, you move through large outdoor areas with enemies coming from several directions, and the jungle cover gives both you and the Slegs places to hide.
Running it on GameCube or Wii
Turok: Evolution runs on the GameCube and on original Wii models with GameCube controller ports and memory card slots, using a GameCube controller. It does not work on the Wii Mini, later Wii models without those ports or the Wii U. Look over the disc for deep scratches, and keep a GameCube memory card handy for saves. The case and manual are included only if the title says so.
