Outbreak on the Spencer Rain

The story opens aboard the Spencer Rain, an Umbrella cruise ship where a former Umbrella researcher named Morpheus has stolen the T-virus and turned the passengers into zombies. U.S. STRATCOM agent Bruce McGavin boards to stop him and crosses paths with Fong Ling, a Chinese agent with orders of her own. After the ship, the chase moves to an Umbrella facility on a remote island. You switch between Bruce and Fong Ling in parts of the story, and each one handles differently.

Third person to move, first person to shoot

Dead Aim splits every encounter into two views. You walk the halls from a third-person camera, then raise your weapon and the game switches to first-person aiming, much like looking down a gun barrel. With a GunCon 2 plugged in, you point at the TV to aim and use the gun's buttons to move. A USB mouse also works for aiming alongside the DualShock 2. Herbs, scarce ammo and locked doors keep the survival horror pacing, and zombies still take several shots to drop.

Look at the disc for deep circular scratches, cracks near the hub and warping. A GunCon 2 or USB mouse is optional and not included unless the listing title names one. The GunCon 2 needs an older CRT television to aim properly, which is worth knowing before you plan a light gun setup. Saves go to a PS2 memory card, which is also included only if listed.
