Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus for PlayStation 2 (Pre-Owned)

Sly Cooper comes from a long line of master thieves whose techniques are recorded in the Thievius Raccoonus. When the Fiendish Five killed his father and split the book among themselves, young Sly ended up in an orphanage, where he met Bentley and Murray. Years later the gang sets out to take the pages back from Sir Raleigh the frog, Muggshot the bulldog, Mz. Ruby the crocodile, the Panda King and finally the mechanical owl Clockwerk. Inspector Carmelita Fox of Interpol chases Sly the whole way, adding a flirty rivalry.

Sneaking, climbing and the blue sparkle

Sly moves in the shadows, and blue sparkles mark the ledges, pipes and points he can land on, tiptoe along or hang from with a press of the circle button. Searchlights, lasers and guards patrol each level, and a single hit costs a life unless Sly is carrying a lucky horseshoe. Clue bottles hidden in each stage unlock a safe holding a page of the Thievius Raccoonus, which teaches Sly a new move. Worlds like Tide of Terror, Sunset Snake Eyes, Vicious Voodoo and Fire in the Sky each end with a boss fight.
