Set a course across the Great Sea
The King of Red Lions carries Link between islands whose silhouettes, reefs, platforms, and hazards gradually fill the sea chart. The Wind Waker baton changes wind direction and performs other melodies used in exploration and story events. Treasure charts turn points on the map into salvage searches, while the sail and later travel options make route planning part of the adventure.
Expressive combat and dungeon tools
Cel-shaded animation makes enemy tells and character reactions unusually readable. Sword strikes, shields, counters, dropped enemy weapons, and familiar Zelda items all feed into combat and puzzles. Each major dungeon introduces a tool that also changes what Link can reach elsewhere, so returning to smaller islands can reveal optional upgrades, treasure, and side stories.
Original disc with optional GBA feature
This pre-owned loose copy is the original GameCube release, not The Wind Waker HD for Wii U. It is a single-player GameCube disc and saves to a compatible memory card. The original game also supports the optional Tingle Tuner when connected to a Game Boy Advance through the appropriate link cable; neither handheld nor cable is part of the disc-only format.
